Do You Have A Password?
There are times when you, as a patient, may want family members, relatives or close friends to be able to obtain confidential medical information about you over the telephone or in person. This can be done through a password.
You decide on a password, register it with MeritCare and then share it with the appropriate people when you wish. MeritCare will not disclose information about you if the requester does not have the password and will only provide information that is appropriate to respond to a particular inquiry.
Setting up a password is quick and easy! Call (701) 234-2781 or (800) 437-4010, ext. 2781 and a MeritCare associate will be happy to assist you and answer any questions. Your physician's receptionist or any registration area at MeritCare will also be able to help you with the process.
