Additional Standards Include:
- A Cancer Committee, comprised of several disciplines, which meets regularly and provides leadership
- A designated medical director
- An administrative structure to ensure efficient, appropriate, effective management of the cancer program and services
- Case reviews conducted on a regular basis to ensure patients' access to consultative services by all disciplines
- An interdisciplinary team approach to planning, implementing and evaluating the care of cancer patients and their families
