The Joint Commission is one of the first organizations to publicly report health care quality data. As a national leader in health care delivery, Sanford embraces the public reporting of measures and applauds The Joint Commission in helping to improve the quality of care for all. Because The Joint Commission works with the majority of our nation's hospitals to assess overall quality for accreditation, they are in a unique position to begin the process of forming quality indicators for the public.
