Hospital Care Team
The hospitalist program partners board-certified internal medicine doctors with medical residents to provide your care. The program is designed to increase efficiency, improve patient care and enhance communication with you and your family.
During your stay, your hospitalist may oversee a team of doctors who are also dedicated to your care. As a team, they focus on granting you more attention from medical professionals. Your care team may include:
- Senior Resident: A senior resident may provide and coordinate your care as well as supervise first-year residents.
- First and Second-Year Residents: A first and second-year resident may be actively involved in obtaining information and providing and coordinating your care.
- Medical Student: A medical student may provide additional support in coordinating your care.
