Everything we do today at MeritCare is done
with an eye toward the future. Our vision is simply to ensure that quality
health care will be available for years to come and that the focus will
always be providing patients and their families the best possible care.
Perhaps what may make the biggest difference in the future is
continuing to do some of the things we do today.
Our quality improvement teams take a close, careful look at
the care we provide and constantly work to determine if there is a better
way. And we measure the care we provide to find out what difference it makes
in a patient's immediate life, as well as over a period of several months,
and years.
Most importantly, we maintain our focus on caring for the
whole person, including their family. We've accomplished much at MeritCare
since the early 1900's, but there is more to be done. Please consider
