Recognizing our Partners in Care
People say the only thing constant in life is change. While that might be true, change is often misunderstood. Rather than an event which occurs and suddenly makes everything different, change happens in tiny bursts, little fits and starts that slowly accumulate into a lasting difference.
Think of the lasting differences that take place at work. What starts as a job slowly transforms into a career. Projects that define a day become a lasting legacy. People who start as colleagues become friends and family.
We at MeritCare are blessed by a network of people who have dedicated their work lives to a passion for life. 517 associates are reaching milestones of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 years of service. Such commitment humbles and amazes us.
When we look around the hospitals and clinic, we are constantly reminded of the many spirited, gifted and caring people who have led the way for the past 100 years and are still lighting the way today. In our fast-paced environment, it's sometimes easy to overlook the importance of a heartfelt thank you or meaningful acknowledgment for a job well done.
