Founded in the early 1900s as Fargo Clinic and St. Luke's Hospital, MeritCare has a rich 100-year history of community involvement and social accountability. History

MeritCare Health System currently serves nearly two million people a year across the region, but our history began in 1905 in a small doctor's office in downtown Fargo.
