Centennial Historic Display

Step back in time to the early 1900s when St. Luke's Hospital opened in downtown Fargo by touring the MeritCare Centennial Historic Display.

The display highlights a detailed timeline of notable events during the last century. During your tour you'll:

• Meet the visionary St. Luke's Hospital and Fargo Clinic founders
• View the original desk of founder Nils Tronnes (on loan for six months from Don Larew, an NDSU faculty member and local antique collector)
• Read St. Luke's Hospital's first annual report
• See the changes in health care techniques, equipment and technology in the last 100 years
• Read a detailed account of the experiences of a St. Luke's School of Nursing student in the 1920s and see nursing uniforms from years past
• Learn about MeritCare as a pioneer in caring for the people of our community
