If you or a loved one is experiencing changes in behavior or memory loss that affects day-to-day life, you know the pain this can cause – the frustration in not functioning as you once did, the strained relationships with people close to you and the anxiety in not knowing what's next. Through diagnosis and treatment, we will partner with you and your family to achieve the best quality of life for your loved one.

CARE

Diagnosis

More than once you've likely wondered: Is it Alzheimer's? Some other type of dementia? Just a natural part of aging? Find out how MeritCare's Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Program diagnoses these conditions.

Treatment Options

If memory loss is diagnosed, the path toward treatment can begin. While there currently is no cure for dementia, various treatment options are available.

A Team Approach

At MeritCare, we bring together highly trained medical experts and the needed "tools" (targeted tests and advanced equipment) to make an accurate diagnosis. Learn more about our comprehensive team of professionals.
