Walk-In or ER?

When a sudden illness or injury occurs, you want excellent medical care — fast. As always, in a critical emergency situation, immediately dial 911. For other emergencies, MeritCare offers two options for your care needs — MeritCare Walk-In Clinics and MeritCare Emergency Center. But each specializes in a different level of care, so knowing where to go can be confusing. Use the following guidelines to help you decide.

Visit the Emergency Room in case of:

MeritCare Emergency Center
720 4th St. N., Fargo
Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day

Visit a Walk-In Clinic in case of:

MeritCare Walk-In Clinic
